This little hotel, previously a bank, retains some of the old charm of a repurposed building. There are three guest rooms, two upstairs, no lift by the way, and one downstairs. The upstairs room has a balcony overlooking the eastern part of Picton harbour, and carpark. Curtains are effective at keeping the sunrise out and the heat in. The living room area is spacious and light, with a gas fireplace for warmth and large screen TV, local channels only. There is a separate bedroom and the bed is extremely comfortable, with doors opening into a modernish bathroom, with spa bath and walk-in shower. It is situated next door to an Irish pub which gets noisy later in the evening as patrons leave. The hotel has it's own restaurant downstairs and the relaxing mood music playing can be clearly heard softly playing upstairs in the room. We found no-one in attendance on arrival but one quick phone call and someone was there to check us in. It seems they also run another B&B nearby. We were offered a complimentary drink, which arrived with complimentary petit fours for afternoon tea. We were also provided with ice cold water, and fresh milk in a jug, being kept cold in an ice bath as there was no fridge in the room. Tea and coffee making but no fridge. Breakfast can be prebooked in the restaurant, which we did not do as there are plenty of cafes nearby, but we received a knock on the door at 8am and were presented with a complimentary pot of tea, and fresh croissants! what a lovely surprise! We dined in the restaurant the night before and the food was very good. A charming and quiet atmosphere. The location is ideal for travelling on the ferry, or finding the hire car offices, both of which are only a short distance away.

This is exquisitely beautiful accommodation with all the creature comforts. The claw bath and salts was an absolute highlight along with the outdoor balcony with views along the street - enjoyed all the more with the complimentary wine and cheese on arrival. The rooms and beds are gloriously spacious and comfortable. I also hadn't appreciated that breakfast was included in our booking so this was a lovely bonus. Julienne and her team bent over backwards to ensure we enjoyed a wonderful stay. And this really was a wonderful stay. Thank you sincerely!!!

This is a very small hotel (only 3 rooms) which only adds to its charm. Its location in the centre of Picton is an additional benefit as it is only a couple of minutes' walk from shops and nearby facilities. The old world style of decor ,the large rooms which are spotless and supremely comfortable has to be experienced. The restaurant is closed for evening meals , but the welcome touch of a wine and cheese plate is a unique touch. Breakfast is offered and sets you up for the day ahead. I would love to stay here again.

Our luxury suite in this small boutique hotel was superb, beautifully presented with gorgeous furnishings. Location is very central, yet quiet enough to be peaceful. A complimentary glass of wine on arrival was nice too. Jo deserves a special mention for her outstanding efforts to make our visit as seamless as possible making us feel special, especially considering we are the only guests staying that night. As we understood it, Jo was not a normal member of staff but stepped in due to unfortunate circumstances.

Matthew

The greeting with wine and a personalised cheese platter was a lovely touch to the luxurious room. We were also upgraded due to us being on our honeymoon which was a lovely surprise and we thoroughly enjoyed the room. This is a unique spot with a different vibe only having three rooms in the hotel, making it more personable and special. The breakfast room service was well worth it as well.
